Since our inception, M CUTTS CIVIL ENGINEERING has been focused on providing complete design management services from project conception to completion.
M Cutts Civil Engineering provides design consultancy services and design management founded on broad experience gained from working across many construction industry sectors. We offer added value and something different from the traditional appointment of an architect and engineer to deliver your design.
The role of 'Design Manager' has evolved in the UK in the past two decades. Traditionally, the role and responsibilities of design coordinator has been with the Architect. Project Managers have been tasked with managing the design process. A design manager is able to fulfil an effective role in managing the design process, liaising and coordinating between the design team and construction team. The concept is simple, to facilitate designers to focus on producing quality designs and to provide design information flow to the construction team to deliver on site. The role of the design manager is an increasingly important role on construction projects to deliver value and success.
