The role of 'Design Manager' has evolved in the UK in the past two decades. Traditionally, the role and responsibilities of design coordinator has been with the Architect. Project Managers have been tasked with managing the design process. A design manager is able to fulfil an effective role in managing the design process, liaising and coordinating between the design team and construction team. The concept is simple, to facilitate designers to focus on producing quality designs and to provide design information flow to the construction team to deliver on site. The role of the design manager is an increasingly important role on construction projects to deliver value and success.

I started out in construction as a trainee Site Engineer and progressed through the ranks over the years into a Design Manager and finally to a Senior Site Manager. My broad experience has brought an invaluable insight into the various roles on site that are integral to design and construction delivery.
Our design management services will always draw from technical and practical experience, to deliver effective design information flow on any project. Our vision is to work hard and being extremely passionate about delivering quality design and construction.
