This was a development in Wales, with MC Civil Engineering providing Architectural Design Services. We produced a package of drawings that included:

We were asked to provide a surveyor to measure the internal dimensions of a large existing building and to produce 2D detailed dimensional drawings showing the measurements, this is to be used to redesign the inside of the building and covert it into separate apartments,

This was a development overseas, with MC Civil Engineering providing Architectural Design Services. We produced a package of drawings that included:
- 3D Isometric View.

Drawings were developed using particular planning requirements for set backs from existing boundaries and developed to fit within a particular limited site space and unusual steep site gradients.
We provided design input into the structure of the building and how columns would effect the usable living space.
Kemsley EFW -
Energy For Waste

Large Civil Engineering project, consisting of heavy reinforced concrete and structural steel frame and associated external works, access road, S278 etc.
M Cutts supported the team in completing the design, manage the design and dealing with all design related queries for the new build Kemsley (EFW) Energy for Waste project in Sittingbourne.
Key deliverables included:
- Value Engineering with review of the design and commenting on drawings.
- Identifying variation items, over and above the contract specifications.
- Identifying buildability opportunities and design alternatives that are more cost effective to build in practice on site.
- Reviewing design specifications.
- Reviewing all drawings.
- Client liaison for design approvals.
- Arranging and chairing design workshops to review preliminary drawings.
- Conducting value engineering design workshops and agreeing any changes with the client to ensure it still meets the ER's and contract specifications.
- Managing technical submittal approvals, samples and material approvals.
Modular School
in London.
The project consisted of 395 modules made in Portakabins York facility, a traditional sports hall and a traditional administration building between the two, a full sized 3G pitch, a running track, 4 MUGA (multi use games areas) pitches and associated external works. M Cutts produced a package of drawings that included:
- Setting out drawings coordinated and checked
- Overlaying multiple CAD drawings
- Issue all of drawings for construction to site team
- Co-ordination of modular build drawings and plans and reviewing for clash detection
M Cutts also provided construction planning and programming and programme reporting.
Early detailed review of the drawings and understanding all of the technical aspects enabled the project delivery team delivering the primary school ahead of contract programme.
